I hope in the future that we get to work with more HD videos, just like you see from cameras these days, and even say...HD game clips, edit them on the Amiga and upload them to YouTube, using an app like VideoClipper. Would be cool to see, but for that, AmigaOS needs to break more of its' limitations in order to manage that. Keep improving. This one is great!

I've made a couple of YouTube videos with earlier versions and plan to get busy making more with this new release. VideoClipper gives powerful control of ffmpeg (now instead of mencoder) to cut and join video clips and arrange their order, now with ability to do fades and other effects. You can advance forward by frame now (not as precise for going backwards, alas) so more accuracy for tighter edits. The program controls MPlayer via Arexx, and with advances in our video playback capability creating high-def videos are now easier to manage with our X1000. The VideoClipper interface now adds thumbnail images for in and out point of edits. Users can achieve some more sophisticated edits with the NLE within Blender, but VideoClipper is less taxing in some ways on our systems and provides quick-to-accomplish cuts-only editing that can be output to a variety of formats.
