Hello all

I will love to be able to configure AmigaInputAnywhere for use with one X-Arcade double controller. Is this possible or advisable in the future?

Is to play roms with 2 players like friends for example.

Can you give us this satisfaction for us the players?

Thank you very much for this fantastic program. At least now I can play xMAME 1.06 with joypad since today because yesterday I restored my AmigaOS 4.1 FE Update 2 system

Something went wrong with packaging. Wrong version was included in the lha archive, with an old Italian catalog file, will be uploading the correct version soon, you can see release date in changelog does not match version date, this this was beta/alpha version.

@levellord
I was a bit shocked it was 10 years between 2.3 and 2.4, of course it’s not like I did not do anything in that period on the contrary, I work on many different projects etch I learned something, 2.4 was mostly about fix the worst mistakes, 2.5 and up coming 2.6 is about bringing this project up to standard.

Great utility to assign keyboard controls to your existing joystick/gamepad if unit is not recognized by game. Targeted game must have an option to play it via keyboard. Since AmigaInput is useless, this is only option, and after the update I did not find any issues. 10+

@Samo79 you know you sent me PM instead of this post this in public. And I really do not get why you needed to post my e-mail, as If do not get any spam already.

There is a bug, when select files, if you have deleted a configuration, I was keeping a double record of config files, sadly only noticed after uploading 2.5.

Anyware as in any software.

is it really "anyware" and not "anywhere"? Just to be sure.

@MamePPCA1
Sorry I’m only interested in AmigaInputAnyware bugs/feature requests.
For AmigaOS4.1 support questions you need to ask on amigans or amigaworld

I have problems to configure my USB pad with AmigaInput.
I have no idea of what the bottons of the GUI are for and tell me someone how to configure my controller's cross and its 8 buttons.
I would like to have this gamepad activated to play with 3 players on MAME with my friends.

@Amigo1

You need to test/calibrate unit in AmigaInput prefs first, and save!
once this is done you can see a list of all USB devices AmigaInput supports, only connect device will be used.

I did remove the Defalt.info file no change.
I renamed Defalt to Default no change either

mmh.. not working here on SamFlex OS4.1U1

Double-click on the icon and this is what appears:
Read file: Defalt
Read file: Defalt .info
Read file: Zoidsquest
Read file: SuperMario
Read file: Quake2
Read file: FPSE
Read file: ADoom
Can open file "progdir:config/Defalt"
Can open file "progdir:config/Defalt"
Found ID ffffffff
** ERROR ** Amiga Input failed
There is a file named "Defalt" in Progdir:config. It seems to be ok too since it looks very similar in contents as the other files. Protection bits are the same too.

The solution wasn't very far-fetched: the wrong device was always found, despite
that it wasn't connected. I just renamed all the PCI_#?.driver files elsewhere,
and now the USB gamepad is recognized. If I have both of them connected, the one
lower in the list is picked.
About FPSE, yes it does work at least for one PSX controller.

GREAT ! I got it working with reminiscence, next is FPSE !!

it is not fully working because only the cross works, the digital axes are still
controlling the mouse X/Y (probably a config thing)...

It should be make clear that prefs_anywhere and AmigaInputAnywhere must be in
the same directory, to make the config.txt file available.

thank you so much !

;-)

I have a working amigainput and usb joypad but I dont know how to use aminany
too !
I mean I was able to use the joypad x/y and buttons to replace the mouse but I
am unable to play games which lack amigainput supports.
I open the prefs but dont know what to calibrate. Is it the kbd ? the joypad ?
for instance how do I assign the kbd directions keys to my x/y axes of the usb
joypad ? same question for ENTER, SPACE, TAB, ESC to be assigned to buttons
1-2-3-4 of the usb joypad...
once this is set, it should work with "amigainputless" games...
A little proggry full of potential though !
