smbfs 2.1 is better, but not great. I have not tried 2.3 yet.

we now have 2.3 available... any improvements here?

thanks and regards...

Both of those fixed and a new build, 7510, has been uploaded to Aminet and OS4Depot. For always the latest version: Project->Check latest version...

Thanks

@dan.hutch

I looked into the previews once before. I don't remember how to turn it on. How? Menu->Window->Show->Previews will not stay checked for me. I will give it another look.

Glad you like it!

First download, somehow missed this before now? Loads of options in preferences, like the FTP support, love the image conversion option, browsing through MP3s is neat with the playback. Great stuff!

Thumbnails of images slow on Sam460 but no different to similar file managers. I have thumbnails on in Workbench with the caching option which works well, I wonder if WEx could perhaps use Workbench's previews?

rx "ADDRESS WORKBENCHEXPLORER.1 ChangePath 'PATH=DH0:'"

Notice the single quote around the PATH arg.

Playing with the arexx port with mixed results, Information caused a DSI, Iconify toggled the About window. I was actually trying to issue the following command, but could not get it to work? Rx "ADDRESS WORKBENCHEXPLORER.1 ChangePath RAM:"
How do I get that working?

Just downloaded this for the first time; awesome work.

Reporting a bug I found inside Tools->Preferences->User Buttons: You have a checkbox for 'Wrap entries in quotes' this needs extending to the actual Command as well.

For example this does not work: WORK:Home Directory/Application Files/CodeBench - due to the spaces in the path.

Otherwise, haven't spotted anything just yet.

Could you post about the issues on my forum so I can ask some more questions and we can figure this out?

I gave it a quick run.

I takes ages to startup, 20 to 30 seconds on my SAM compared with less than 1 for filer.

During startup it references my defered assigns , thus rendering them "undefered" and poping up insert volume requesters for a couple that refer to CDs that aren't present (the old C4DCD: assign for example).

Once started it displays all the partitions on my system, including a disabled Swap partition and several others that are neither formatted nor mounted, it should *not* display those, scanning for them may have ben part of the reason for the sow startup?

Nice option for drawers first or last. I wish Windows had that.

REALLY NICE!
I've only to signal one thing:
Here on my Pegasos2 G4@1131 was a too slow to display opened drawer/device...any way to speedup file display? On MOS file explorer for example when you open a drawer/device files/drawers was quite instantly displayed...
