Revision 1.6 - (March 2021)
- Added functionality in Verify network icon. By clicking on it with the
right mouse button, we access the router configuration.
- Adapted tool to connect with computers that use windows 8/10. For this
they must have SMB1 / CIFS enabled in windows features
- Fixed error in the introduction of password that did not allow special
symbols.
- Fixed small display errors.
- Added the functionality of being able to select an icon for our device,
out of five predefined ones.
- Modified access with unknown devices. Now, once an unknown device is
selected, it will allow us to add a standard icon and then it will ask
for its name.
- Added the functionality to hide devices that we are not interested in
using the "F1" key.
- Automatic detection of network printers and devices.
- Partial redesign of the visual environment.
- Added help function, with the "HELP" key, it will give us a brief
information about the icons.
- Improvement of the initial scanning process of the network.
- Display window adapts to the existence of devices, allowing the display
of up to 18 devices.
-Added Italian catalog thanks to David Lo Buglio for his work.
- Added menu language for French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch.
- Possibility of canceling the icon definition action, removing names and
hiding devices using the "ESC" key.
- Replaced the "TAB" key by "F10" to indicate that we want to mount all
the units of the device that we select.
- SSL compatible encryption of the application's configuration file to
improve security and protection of possible user names and passwords.
- Compatibility with previous versions of configuration. For this we have
to have openssl installed on our computer, otherwise, the file encoding
has also been improved, but it will continue to be the same as in
previous versions.
- Removed the background option in tooltypes. I did not quite like how
the application was with that option.
- Other minor bug fixes.
-Added functionality to print files on the network printer in iconified
state.
