Actually, Netup's Timeout is working very well in 3 seconds, then it closes immerdiately after assuring it's online. This is the way i wanted it, so everything is just fine :)

well what you can do is type c:netshutdown in the cli. set the timeout to 20 then run netup after 20secs you will see that it gives up and quits. then run it again and do c:addnetinterface devs:netinterface/xxxx where xxxx is your interface file. whilst its flashing and you'll see it come online.

Thank you, Jurassicc :) Yes, 10 is usually fine. I managed to reduced it also down to 3 seconds, but no lower than that. It would help to have more information on what is the best recommended seconds to really use for the Timeout. Thank you so much for the help, Jurassicc :)

I would stay 10 is fine. But if you want it shorter keep reducing it by 1 until it doesn't work the use the number it last worked at.

Just a question. What is the minimal seconds recommendation for the Timeout here?

DONOTWAIT command is not needed when placing it in WBStartup Prefs, as long as you leave the button for choosing amount of seconds to wait UNTICKED. That function appears as DONOTWAIT instead. I have reduced the Timeout to 10 seconds instead :)

Tested and working brilliant! Added it to WBStartup Prefs and Timeout is at 20 seconds! I really recommend this tool! How about creating a nice drawer for Netup with icon? I also wonder if Netup drawer should be either in SYS:Utillities or in SYS:Internet?

Don't forget to add DONOTWAIT as the third tooltype, if you have it in wbstartup.
