@ walkero and SMF As I had several trouble with my port of gnutls 3.6.13 (SSL/TLS layer), I've ported the latest version 3.7.3 and it works now much better (e.g. with Netsurf). Now I also have a new binary of pidgin. I don't know if it helps, but if you want to give it a try, send me a mail (see README) and I send you a download link back.

I have seen that this version of pidgin connects to discord fine, and brings messages but if you write something back, then this never appears at the discord channel or friend chat.

@CygnusED Thank you for taking a look at it. I hope someone can confirm if it still works or not.

@ SMF Sad to hear that it doesn't work anymore for you. Unfortunately I have no idea, where this error comes from. Could not find it in all used sources. Does anybody else have this problem? I have no facebook account and can't try it.

Is it just me or does it not work with facebook anymore? I recieve the error message "error _que_overflow" when trying to connect. It's been a while since i used my amiga to connect to the messenger chat so i had changed the password since then and i'm not really sure that i use the correct password but i'm pretty sure i'm.

Pidgin 2.13.0 works really great under AmiCygnix 1.6. Chatting with my Facebook friends works like a charm. Very cool! Thanks! Keep up the great work.

@CygnusEd Great, for a long time I thought asking for this modification ! Hope it would be easy to implement, in my opinion AmiCygnix do the best when started in window mode so removing that extra window borders would fit it perfectly in a Workbench screen ! Keep it up !

@HKvalhe Nice idea, thanks for posting the tip! I opted for no window manager to get rid of the 'duplicate' window border, seems to work nice apart from setting accounts up/preferences when the regular desktop mode is better to see all the options.

@HKvalhe Yeah - this is still a limitation, but I'm working on it ;-)

I meant that Pidgin now seems cooler without the borders :) Although, it doesn't PERMANENTLY remove the window borders. Still, is a little neat trick :)

Thank you so much for the tip, CygnusED! Now ALL standalone AmiCygnix programs run WITHOUT the annoying border :) Thanks! :D

That's cool, CygnusED! Must try that :) But chat window opens on the same area as the main window. It's a limitation of the AmiCygnix setup. QT in the other hand has much more freedom in movement. I'll try :) Thank you for the tip, CygnusED :)

@HKvalhe Cool :-) But can you open a usable chat window in these display dimensions? Little hint: You can remove the window border by making a right click on the border and choosing "Remove decoration".

The new version is great, with Facebook XMPP for the Facebook Chat :) I have managed to do an interesting trick with the standalone script, setting it to run in 400x600, makes it really nice :) Allow me to show you in a screenshot :)
