***** AISS (available on OS4 Depot) is required to use this program *****

"NetSurf Address Book" is another one of my 'bloated' programs that I made with
Hollywood 4.0. I hope you enjoy it! (This version is even larger than previous
versions because it includes three separate Hollywood programs.)

Installation: Simply copy the NetSurfAddressBook drawer into your main NetSurf
drawer and copy the file called "StartAddressBook.nsrx" into NetSurf/Rexx. (This
will allow you to start the address book from the "ARexx" menu in NetSurf).
____________
NOTE: If you want to keep your addresses from a previous insall, do not
overwrite the "Addresses" text file.
____________

The Address Book window has three display buttons, six control buttons, and up
to 250 address link buttons. The AddAddress Button adds the URL that is
currently being used by the browser to the list of links. The RemoveAddress
Button is used to delete any of the Link or Group buttons. The AddGroup Button
creates a new group heading and adds a dummy sub-group link that can be
configured or just deleted. The Hand Button is used to arrange the links and
groups in the list by dragging and dropping (holding down the left mouse button
and releasing). The Preferences Button allows the user to adjust the general
preferences for the Address Book or the Quick Links window. This button can also
be used to start the Window Prefs program, which is a hollow frame window that
can be placed and sized however the user wants, and when it is closed, this
becomes the new placement and size of the desired window (either the Address
Book or the Quick Links window). The last button on the right of the Address
Book window is used to launch or close the Quick Links window. A blank link
button can be configured by clicking on it and entering the desired URL into the
Requester. In order to change the URL or the title of a link button, just
right-click it and choose one of the options. (This is also how group buttons
are renamed.)

The view can be switched between a display of the address book and a display of
the history using the buttons in the upper left corner. Clicking the Search
button will reveal or hide the special search display. If you want to add a new
custom search to the list, just add a new line to the "LookUpList" in the
following format: <Name>=<URL> (inserting "[STRING]" at the appropriate place in
the URL). There are seven pre-configured examples in the included LookUpList
that demonstrate how this is done.

The QuickLinks window can be configured through "QuickLinkPrefs" and the
graphical links themselves are configured through the "QuickLinks" text file, in
which you can define the AISS image to be used, the web address for the link,
and any subtitle text that you might want to add. The order used in the
QuickLinks configuration is quicklink number followed by a "|" symbol, then the
name of the AISS image to be used followed by an "=" sign, then the web address
(URL) to be used by this button. If you want to have subtitle text under the
image, you can enter it after the URL, separated by the "|" symbol. (The sample
"QuickLinks" file shows how all this works.) If you want to use a text title for
the button instead of an AISS image, simply put the desired text inside
quotation marks in the position where the AISS image name would be (again, see
the included "QuickLinks" file for an example of this). In this file, you will
also notice that after the listing of Links, there is a line with the following
text: "***Custom Alignment***". This line is followed by a custom arrangement of
the Quick Link buttons. Any arrangment of these buttons in rows and columns can
be made here by using the link number separated by the "|" symbol. This custom
alignment will only be used if the "Custom" alignment option is selected in the
QuickLinkPrefs (the other options are Horizontal and Vertical). Please do NOT
delete the custom alignment information even if you do not plan on using it (you
might want to use it sometime in the future).

Special thanks to:
*Chris Young for bringing NetSurf to OS4.
*Mason for his AISS artwork.

Version 3.8 (3/1/09):
Thanks to the release of Hollywood 4.0, the following enhancements are now
available:
*Increased the max number of address links from 100 to 250.
*Added support for mouse wheel scrolling.
*No longer uses the rx3h.library.
*Various internal optimizations.

Version 3.7 (1/29/09):
*Added the ability to have groups within groups, within groups, within groups,
etc. ;-)
*Added "Hints" to the various buttons of the Address Book (configured through
the Preferences)
*Fixed a problem that at least one person was having with OWBAddressBook and
AISS.

Version 3.6 (1/12/09):
*Merged the functions of the old "HistoryKeeper" (now removed) into the program
"WinPrefs"---thus making the archive about 0.5 MB smaller, without loosing any
functionality.
*Fixed a bug in the LookUp chooser.
*Added the option of having a thin border (no titlebar) for the Quick Links
window---requested by H. Maier (Raziel).

Version 3.5 (12/29/08):
*Various bug fixes.
*Recently visited web pages are automatically stored, and can be revisited by
clicking on their link buttons.
*The Address Book can also now be used to execute customized searches (like
IBrowse).

Version 3.2 (12/7/08):
*Added support for the new "GETTITLE" ARexx command (used to auto-fill the title
for an added address).

Version 3.1 (12/5/08):
*Now the string requesters open on the correct screen if the screen is named
"OrigynWebBrowser".

Version 3.0 (11/30/08):
*Added the ability to use links under group headings that can be expanded or
contracted to reveal or hide the links.
*Added the ability to use 3 different kinds of arangements for the Quick Links
(Horizontal, Vertical, or Custom).
*Added the ability to set the font style and size separately for the Links and
Groups in the Address Book as well as the Titles and Subtitles in the Quick
Links window.
*Added Reaction GUIs for changing the preferences for both the AddressBook and
the QuickLinks (much thanks to Chris Young for his help with this).
*Added a separate program to make resizing and placement of the windows
extremely easy.
*Removed the use of reqtools in favor of system string requesters (so now it is
possible to copy and paste into the string requesters).
*Added a bunch of other features that were requested by H. Maier (Raziel).
*Added an AmigaGuide manual.

Version 1.0 (11/14/08):
*First attempt
