Theme editor version 0,3 (July 2015) by Sandro Barbagelata sb5()libero.it This is a work in progress release anbsolutely not bug free!. Themeedit is an utility to create, modify and convert your system themes for OS4, AROS and MOS. It offers a theme viewer and an integrated painter for editing the graphical items (external painter can be used as alternative). Moreover it is available a library to save/load pre-built components for building your themes (contributes are welcome). Are supported themes in Amiga OS4, MorphOS and AROS formats. At the moment the themes can be saved in the same format of reading/creation, cross saving betwen different formats is anyway in the plans. The program will work on a copy of the selected theme in Ram disk (named mytheme), therefore it should not effect your installed themes. For complete list of recent modifications see ReleaseNotes file. Known problems. A random crash of Hollywood, once exiting from painter, is happening in any system tested, including windows, and has not been identified and fixed yet. WARNING ============= WARNING OS4 themes visualisation under other systems can be incomplete having some of the settings in the gui.prefs Under OS4 NEVER SAVE WB GIU.PREFS truogh the program, this would effect your set-up.Use always Save As function. To open a theme just select its main directory. Some time, if a wrong selection is done, a larger quantity of files may be copied to ram disk. This would waste your time only (hopefully). Disclaimer: Use at your own risk this is a work in progress version. Tanks to Nikolaos for let me include some components of his themes in the library |
