***** AISS (available from http://www.masonicons.info/) is required to use this
program *****

"Icon Editor" is another one of my 'bloated' programs that I made with Hollywood
8.0. I hope you enjoy it!

Requirements: In addition to having AISS installed on your system, you also need
to have Stephan Rupprecht's "CopyIcon" (available from OS4 Depot) and the
png.iconmodule (png_im.lha from OS4 Depot).

Icon Editor can be used for such things as:
*Separating Alpha-Channels
*Basic Painting (of both image and alpha channel)
*Cropping (decreasing margins)
*Adding Space (increasing margins)
*Scaling
*Rotating
*Flipping
*Shadow Effect
*Glow Effect
*Merging Two Images Together
*Adding Text
*Making a Text Stencil over an Image
*Smoothing Edges (for either, or both, the image and the alpha channel)
*Blurring
*Sharpening
*Adjusting Gamma, Contrast, Brightness, Saturation, and Hue
*Tinting
*Image and Alpha-Channel Inverting
*Box Fade
*Elliptical Fade
*Shape Fade
*Converting PDFs into Icons

Hints and Tips:
*Using the ".info" extension will Save an Icon (without it, a png image will be
created).
*Placing the mouse pointer above the buttons will cause hints to be displayed in
the window's title bar.
*Switching between states (if the icon has two states) is done with the button
in the lower right-hand corner.
*New Icons can be loaded quickly by dragging and dropping them onto the main
window.
*The Merge Tool also allows for drag'n'drop.
*The Paint Tool allows the keyboard (arrow keys and spacebar) to be used
together with the mouse.

ARexx Commands (Port name: ICONEDITOR):
*HIDE (Hides the GUI)
*SHOW (Shows the GUI)
*QUIT (Closes the program)
*LOAD (Example: LOAD "Ram Disk:New.info")
*SAVEICON (Example: SAVEICON "Ram Disk:Test")
*SAVEIMAGE (Example: SAVEIMAGE "Ram Disk:New.png")
*SCALE (Example: SCALE Width 64 Height 72)
*ROTATE (Example: ROTATE "-45")
*FLIP_H (Flips the image horizontally)
*FLIP_V (Flips the image vertically)
*BLUR (Example: BLUR 2)
*SHARPEN (Example: SHARPEN 2)
*TINT (Color in hexadecimal notation and amount from 1 to 255; Example: TINT
Color FF00FF Amount 130)
*LOADPDF (Example: LOADPDF '"Ram Disk:Test.pdf"' Page 1 Size 76)

(Icon Editor can be run in the background without the GUI if it is started with
the -hidden argument. It can then be shown by clicking on the commodities list
in Exchange.)

Special thanks to:
*Mason for his AISS artwork (used extensively throughout this program).
*Frank Ruthe (cha05e90) for his beta-testing and icons.
