In the future you might want to add a stack cookie as dcraw has a quite high stack usage. Just add the following lines to dcraw.c and it should have some room to breath: #ifdef __amigaos4__ static const char __attribute__((used)) min_stack[] = "$STACK:409600"; #endif I was able to measure a stack usage of up to 263784 bytes using some test files so the stack size set should be larger than this at least. BTW you can download raw sample files in various formats from here: http://www.rawsamples.ch/

CLI is not stone age, more impotently its easy to use CLI commands whit DOPUS, FileManager, DiskMaster and tools like that, while GUI based tools are not so easy to execute on many files. For people that don't know how to use a computer for real, GUI are nice option.
