Ah don't worry about that glitch it's just because you haven't got the variable 'PATH' set.

That's strange I didn't see that eror here when installing onto my SAM
PLease do "perl --version" to make sure you really are running perl 5 22 1

Or even 'which perl'

Just installed using install script. and got ath the end of installation output:
..
/SDK/Local/newlib/lib/perl5/5.22.1/pod/perltoot.pod
Use of uninitialized value $path in substitution (s///) at installperl line 544.
Use of uninitialized value $path in split at installperl line 545.

Tested a couple of command from your readme and seems allright. As I don't know nothing about perl yet, some demos/samples/.. to see how it works?
