Thanks for explaining. I will look into it and try my best. You're right about having to update PGP support in YAM. Maybe that will happen latter or something better? Thanks again. I'll see what I can do with this PGP stuff.

Check for example the ReadMe and docs of https://aminet.net/package/util/crypt/PGPAmiga
You need the contents of such a complete PGP release (doc/#?, #?.hlp, language.txt, etc.), my archive only included the AmigaOS 4.x/PPC executable for users who had PGP installed already.
AFAIK YAM only supports PGP versions 2.6.x and 5.x, having AmigaOS ports of newer versions of PGP wouldn't help at all for YAM, unless someone updates the PGP support in YAM as well.

I completely forgot hov to setup the PGP stuff. I don't remember how to set it up. Last time I tried was over 10 years ago. Do you remember how to set it up? Any help is good help. Thank you kindly.

I'm a bit confused in how to set up your PGP version for YAM under AmigaOS4. How do I set it up, if you can help?

Hi there! Thanks, I will test your version of PGP and see if I can set it up for YAM. I see the problem of not having a proper, latest possible PGP or similar email encryption for YAM on AmigaOS 4 systems. I hope something can be worked out on that one day.

If PGP version 2.6.3in is enough for you try my port: http://strohmayer.org/sfs/files/pgp.lha

There were ports of newer versions of PGP to AmigaOS (not sure if 4.x/PPC as well, or only m68k) by other developers, but AFAIK version 5.x was the latest one ported to AmigaOS.
A port of GPG is only available for m68k AmigaOS (https://www.aminet.net/package/util/crypt/gpg-m68k) and requires ixemul.library, no idea if it works with my incomplete AmigaOS 4.x port of ixemul.library.

It's easy to fix the installer. It says something about a "(" in line 885 or something. Opening the install script and jumping to line 885, you see two lines after eachother with a ")" on each line. Removing one of these lines, the installer works flawlessly. :-)

Both for getting emails and for sending emails. I'm sure this error is well-known to all users. I noticed this first time today of October 28th, 2014. Hope this will be corrected in next version of YAM.

A suggestion of implementing IMAP security could be something to think about?

This comment page is to give comment to what you think of the program in a positive way and why you think the program is good, and what might be missing or something you wish to see. Personally, i love this update of YAM. Very useful, very reliable and fast.
