Just tested on OS4.0 Final and everything appears to work but the pressing of the spacebar to shoot. 
Latest version just downloaded.

Like I said : Just change fullscreen/windowed or Practise/Mission when playing, sometimes I've got this message : 
"HollywoodPlayer 
Cannot use this function while display is closed! 
File: Amistroids.hws (current line: 73 - in function: WaitEvent)"

Verify that you are using the latest version (1.2); a bug was fixed dealing with the change from fullscreen to windowed. If the bug is still there, please send me an e-mail with a bug report including: 
1) Detailed steps to recreate the problem 
2) The line of code where the program fails

Just change fullscreen and windowed and classic style game and the other when playing and program failed : just try it.

tryed new version, and one time (when i play all lives, then die, and then press PREFS), i have:

Big thanks !!! This is a nice game ! I was thinking a few days ago if somebody could make this kind of a game for AmigaOS4. Unfortunately I've found several bugs from it.

Nice game must to say. Simply, primitive, but with nice gfx, nice playability, window mode support, polished, nice looking explosions. So pretty funny to play. Much better than some other Hollywood based game.
