It supports all formats that I have been able to find decent documentation for 
and samples to test with (for some I've used a converter for this purpose). 
 
It's certainly not every wave format &amp;quot;out there&amp;quot;. There are a lot of 
obscure and/or proprietory wave encodings, that are not supported. 
 
Fortunately (?) most of them do not seem to be in much use however. If someone 
does find a file that gives a &amp;quot;unknown compression&amp;quot; response, they 
should probably send it to me, although there may still be the problem of lack 
of docum 
entation, though...
