Is it possible to make this wonderful pixel paint program to work in 1920x1080 32bit mode? It seems that Grafx2 doesn't display higher resolutions than 800x600, I think.
Otherwise, it's a great program.

Is it possible to bring this good program to the current 2.8 version?

i can´t open pictures outside the programm-directory

Did you try to press on volume button, to have choice need it path ? By default you are in the current directory only, and to open any file you need to use volume button (design of programm)

And it seems to have problems on SFS and JXFS-Partitions opening Files.
[/quote]

For me it works with SFS. Didn't try with JXFS , but one user also report that he can't load files from JFS.

To use this application first install the following:
http://www.os4depot.net/index.php?function=showfile&file=development/library/graphics/libjpeg.so.lha
and
http://www.os4depot.net/index.php?function=showfile&file=development/library/graphics/sdl_image.so.hla

Theres a bug in the current SDL release, which I have since fixed. I'll do (another) upload of SDL soon.

When opening this program, all I get is a new, namelss screen of 640x480 resolution, which is black. At the bottom however, a white line appears and below that a finely checkered whitish line slowly fades in and out in some 5 or 6 seconds.

But alas, I used to have exactly the same behaviour from NetSurf and one or two other programs...

@xenic

What, and go back to the bad old days of every SDL port having a different
version of SDL built in? No thanks.

Shared objects work great for most people, as long as you're using the latest
version of OS4.0 or 4.1.

For grafx2, just make sure you have the following shared objects installed:

libSDL-1.2.so
libSDL_image-1.2.so
libpng12.so
libjpeg.so
libz.so
libgcc.so
libc.so

Just compile the libs into the program; they get loaded at runtime anyway (if
the program works). There is nothing to be gained with the shared objects except

additional problems.

I'm getting an error around LibSDL-1.2.so. I've got the file in my sys:sobjs
dir and I copied one to the local dir with the same results.

Have you got a link to the Shared_SDL requirement or is it included.
