DESCRIPTION ----------- This freeware program is used to locate identical files on your harddisks. There are already a few programs around that does the same thing but not many find duplicate files with *different* file names. USAGE ----- DupFinder PATH/A/M,NAMES/S,MINSIZE=MIN/N,NOICONS=NOINFO/S PATH/A/M You can check any number of disks or directories in a single search by entering the name of each path on the command line. Be warned though, this program uses a lot of memory and a lot of time if it has to scan through many directories. NAMES/S If you use this argument only files that are different but have the same file name are listed. MINSIZE=MIN/N If you set MINSIZE to, for example, 1000 no identical file of size less than 1000 bytes will be listed. Useful if you have lots of tiny identical files you wish to exclude from the search. NOICONS=NOINFO/S If you use this argument no identical icon or ".info" files are listed.
